Bad physics is used in movies to create excitement and interest for science. Most
directors these days use bad physics to enhance their movies and the performance of the
actors. However, in general, bad physics is used in movies to create humor. The director
would break the laws of physics in order for them to achieve the humour in a movie.

Bad Physics #1
In one of the scene where agent J is introduced to receive his weapons, he accidentally gazed upon an object (a special rubber ball) concealed in a force field and felt the urged to touch it. After touching it, the ball went flying across the room and hits several objects until stopped by agent K using a special glove.
The bad physics in this scene is that the ball never sees to stop moving contrary to the laws of friction or motion which states that the ball should have stop due to the friction between the air or the objects it was hitting. When the ball made contact with several objects, it did not lose speed or gain speed, it stayed in a constant speed moving up and down and left to right. This surely breaks Newton’s first law of motion which states that when an object is at rest, it will continue to stay at rest until acted upon by an external unbalance force. The ball acted upon several external unbalance force and yet it continued to move in a constant speed.

Bad Physics #2
In the left is the picture of the galaxy, an incredible source for sub atomic power about the size of a marble, hidden on Earth for safekeeping.
A super intelligent cockroach attempts to steal this galaxy and the owners refuse to allow it to
fall into the bug’s possession.
The bad physics here is that the galaxy is so small
that it can barely be noticed and we all know that
a galaxy is millions of light years away and
contains billions of stars meaning its size would
be extremely large. The other mistake was that the
galaxy was contained in marble like shell that
enabled the agents to hold them in their hands.
Holding a galaxy in your hand would be impossible
because of it's size, the amount of star it
contains, and the gasses it posses. I think the
idea of a galaxy being hidden in Earth is far too
farfetched.

Bad Physics #3
In one of the scene, agent J chases a criminal in the street of New York. After a while, J’s partner gives up the chase and leaves him on his own. During the chase, the criminal jumped off the bridged and landed flat on his foot without breaking a single bone. J did the same thing except he landed on the top of a double decked bus.
The bad physics here is that jumping off a bridge unharmed is physically imposible. To explain the bad physics, we use the gravitational potential energy. The gravitational potential energy stored in an object becomes kinetic energy in a fall. This is the same type of kinetic energy that makes bullets deadly. A 45-cal bullet, for instance, has a kinetic energy of 817 joules. For comparison, let us assume that agent J has a mass of 183.4 pounds and fell off about 10 meters high. His (gravitational) potential energy is about 817 joules. Since this is converted into kinetic energy during the fall, our hero hits the ground with the kinetic energy of a 45-cal bullet! In this case, agent J did not break a single bone or received any pain at all, which makes it physically impossible
